A group of specialists in thermal spraying. We handle various processes from arc spraying to pre-treatment and finishing!

It is a type of electric spray coating that generates an arc discharge (electric spark) between two metal wires, using the discharge energy to melt the wires. The wires are fed in accordance with the melting rate, and compressed air is used to atomize the molten metal, which is then continuously sprayed onto the substrate to form a film. Compared to flame spraying methods, it has a higher spraying capacity (amount of coating per unit time) and excellent adhesion to the substrate due to the spraying material being sufficiently melted at high temperatures. The power supply for the arc spraying device can be alternating current, but direct current is used for stability of the arc. Since the wires act as electrodes, the spraying materials are limited to electrically conductive materials.

Arc spraying

Roll outer circumference corrosion-resistant thermal spraying! The thermal spray material is sufficiently melted at high temperatures, resulting in excellent adhesion to the substrate.

This is an introduction to Kōei Techno System's "Arc Spraying," which focuses on the repair, regeneration, prolongation, and maintenance of parts, aiming for high-quality parts and advanced machinery through research and development in areas such as wear resistance, heat resistance, and corrosion prevention, similar to preventive medicine. Arc spraying is a type of electric spraying that generates an arc discharge between two metal wires, using the discharge energy to melt the wires. The wires are fed in accordance with the melting speed, and compressed air is used to atomize the molten metal, which is then continuously sprayed onto the substrate to form a coating. Compared to frame spraying methods, arc spraying has a greater spraying capacity, and because the spraying materials are sufficiently melted at high temperatures, they exhibit excellent adhesion to the substrate. The power supply for the arc spraying device can be alternating current, but direct current is used for stability of the arc, and since the wire acts as an electrode, the spraying materials are limited to electrically conductive materials. ● Corrosion-resistant spraying on roll periphery ⇒ Photo *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Osaka Fuji Industrial's thermal spraying technology - Arc spraying

The thermal spraying technology of Osaka Fuji Industrial, active in a wide range of industrial fields.

Compared to gas thermal spraying, it features greater adhesion and tensile strength, as well as higher spraying efficiency. By utilizing two different metals or alloy materials, a pseudo-alloy coating is formed. Any metal that can be drawn into wire can be sprayed. Because it is a low-temperature spraying process, the substrate does not undergo alteration or change. The pores within the coating provide excellent oil retention properties and significantly improve wear resistance. For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.
